Starting in 1924, cars were raffled off at the Fancy Farm Picnic. The first car, won by Paul Carrico, was a two-seated, three door Ford Model T. During the war years, 1941 to 1946 cars were not raffled, but instead quilts and washing machines. Since then the Fancy Farm Picnic has raffled off some top of the line cars. Chances on the picnic car are sold before and during the picnic. The drawing is held at 11 PM on picnic night. You do not have to be present to win.

Below you will see the ticket barrel, some previous cars won, and Sandra Toon Vaughn who won the Centennial Picnic Car in 1980.
