First Community Bank announces Fancy Farm branch

Bruce Kimbell, president of First Community Bank (FCB) in Clinton, has announced that the bank has entered into an agreement with the Fancy Farm Local Development Corporation to purchase the former Graves County Bank building, located on Hwy. 80 in Fancy Farm. Refurbishing of the building will begin as soon as regulatory approval is received with the branch expected to be open by mid-year.
Kimbell stated that the acquisition of this building provides the means for FCB to bring its style of hometown banking to not only Fancy Farm, but the surrounding communities as well. "High quality, common sense banking is what the people of Fancy Farm expect and we feel confident in our ability to deliver. We are extremely excited about this new location and look forward to serving the people of this wonderful community," Kimbell said.
First Community Bank is an independent community bank with its main office located in Clinton with reported assets of $53.7 million as of December 31, 2004.
